UPDATE 9/9/2022 –
We want to thank everyone who has contributed and commented during the recent engagement period. Fellview Healthcare and North Cumbria Primary Care are working with the Integrated Care Board regarding opportunities to support services in Copeland, which includes services delivered at Frizington. The Fellview Patient Participation Group and MP Trudy Harrison are supporting these discussions.
We will update patients and staff further when we are able to do so.
Meanwhile, we will not be progressing with an application to close Frizington Surgery, however the site will remain closed on a temporary basis, for the time being.
UPDATE 30/06/2022 –
As many people will be aware Frizington Surgery has been temporarily closed for a number of weeks. After due consideration Fellview Healthcare have now made the difficult decision to submit an application to NHS England to close the site on a permanent basis.
